First Plenary Conference of Tensions of Europe
Budapest, 2004
[print]
During March 17-20, some 150 participants from over 20 countries gathered in Budapest at the Hotel Benczúr and the Central European University to celebrate more than three years of work in the Tensions of Europe Network, to welcome new participants into the project, especially from Central and Eastern Europe, and to plan for the future. The atmosphere was friendly and exciting, and the contributions stimulating. This left no doubt that the in the Network would like to continue in some form after expanding, consolidating, and reconfiguring the current structure.
