Biographical Sketch

Guenter Dinhobl studied mechanical engineering at an establishment of higher technical education, thereafter physics at the university of Vienna and is actally finishing his Ph.D. in history in Vienna. Since 1996 he specialized in history of technology, and especially in history of rail transport. Since 2000 he is assistant at the IFF (Faculty for Interdisciplinary Research and post-doc Education) / department Analysis of Culture and Science (http://www.iff.ac.at/kwa).
